When will the subsidy be granted?

The payment of the Strategic Ecology Support occurs in three instalments (30% -30% - 40%).

We offer support for training, consulting, investment and research & development directly to companies. Subsidies to knowledge institutions, collective centers, researchers, clusters, ... You will find them under 'VLAIO Network'.

What does an R&D feasibility study entail?

Companies and organisations may carry out a feasibility study as a way to prepare themselves for an innovative follow-up trajectory.

Amount of the feasibility study subsidy

The basic support amounts to 40% of the project budget. An additional 10% support can be granted if the applicant is an SME.

What does a Baekeland mandate entail?

A subsidy for strategic basic research projects with an economic finality by PhD students in cooperation with a Flemish enterprise.

Amount of a Baekeland mandate

The amount of the subsidy depends on the size of the company and ranges between 50% and 80% of the staff and operating costs of the PhD student.

Undertakings in difficulty are not eligible
