Enterprises can start to apply for the Brexit Resilience subsidy from 1 February 2021. The deadline for submission is 31 December 2022, 12 AM. Applications are dealt with in order of submission and until the budget has been depleted. Applications that have been submitted after 31 December 2022, 12 AM will not be taken into consideration. 
If the budget has been depleted before 31 December 2022, VLAIO will end the possibility to submit an application before 31 December 2022.   

A digital application form which can be found on our website needs to be filled out. You will be requested to upload a filled out project description. 

The application must take place before the commencement of the advice performances. 

Evaluation procedure 

When VLAIO reviews the application, the following assessment criteria will be evaluated:  

• Ambition: the applicant should demonstrate that his/her business has the ambition to strategically reorientate itself through transformation, innovation or internationalization, or to reform its current operations management to remain competitive on the British market.  
• The applicant should demonstrate that the project will have a significant impact on the current operations management.  
• The business has a substantiated approach: the applicant should demonstrate to have a substantiated approach to realize the strategic project and the company’s consolidation.  
• The business has a need for knowledge: the applicant should demonstrate
  • that the business does not possess the knowledge necessary to devise the project without purchasing certain strategic knowledge, as well as;  
  • that the chosen service provider and/or the to be recruited strategic profile does possess that lacking knowledge.
