The preliminary stage of this project showed that more insight into the quality of roadside grass clippings is needed as one of the first steps towards the valorisation of roadside grass. Natuurinvest, in collaboration with De Vlaamse Waterweg (DVW) and the Agency for Roads and Traffic (AWV), launched a limited-value public contract for this purpose. The aim of this tender is to check the quality of roadside and natural grass clippings and to investigate whether natural grass clippings (from ANB), roadside grass clippings (from AWV) and grass clippings along watercourses (from DVW) differ substantially from each other.

Tenders had to be submitted to Willy Verbeke of Natuurinvest (see assignment document) by Friday 28 August, 2pm.
