As part of this project, a preparation process was initiated in January 2021 in collaboration with consulting firm Addestino. In a first phase, several working sessions were organized with internal stakeholders of ILVO to assess the desired functionalities and the innovation potential from a user point of view.

With an 'AI Platform for Agri-Food' ILVO wishes to simplify and democratize the use of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science within the daily job of ILVO researchers. A government contract will be launched, in the coming months, with the goal of purchasing a user-friendly AI platform.  

An online market consultation with potential suppliers and service providers took place on June 17, 2021.
