Together with Sport Vlaanderen, we drew up the tender document based on the results of the market consultation. These specifications were published on 20 July 2018 (via e-procurement ) and distributed to the participants of the market consultation.

Procedure: Simplified negotiation procedure with prior publication. This is a one-step procedure in which selection and award phase take place in a single step and negotiations can take place if desired.

The tender comprised two lots: the development of cooling garments suitable for "during performance" and the development of cooling garments suitable for "pre/per and post performance" are envisaged. Candidate contractors may submit tenders for one or both lots. The submission of alternative solutions (free variants) is also possible. The prototypes should be available during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
