The contract was delivered on 28 October 2019: RadarDual.
RadarDual gives workplace supervisors and sector consultants within dual learning a clear picture of supply and demand in dual learning. The application brings together student numbers and geographical data of schools and companies to present a unique picture on dual learning. RadarDual is also intended as a tool to detect a shortage of workplaces or a local scarcity of training. Workplace supervisors and sector consultants can thus respond more quickly to what students, schools and companies expect from dual learning.
Optimisations in 2020
In the course of 2020, some more improvements were made within the SYNTRA Flanders Agency in coordination with users. The main improvements in this new version ('live' since July 2020) are the expansion of the search options and the information available (region, multiple school years, Joint Committee, ...) in "supply and demand" and "prospecting".
Dissolution of Syntra Flanders in 2021
In early 2021, the Syntra Flanders agency was dissolved and Syntra Flanders' activities and competences were divided and placed under VLAIO, VDAB, Department of WSE and Department of Education and Training. The application' RadarDuaal' thus came under the Department of Work and Social Economy.
Update Radar Duaal in mid-2021
Access to the application is (for now) limited to the sectors with a sector partnership, the workplace supervisors (VDAB) and the account managers of department WSE. The application works with authentication and is not freely accessible. An analysis of the pros and cons of expanding accessibility was made and will be included in the further development of the application.
Despite the limited accessibility, the application is a very useful tool in various processes within Dual Learning and is used as input for various consultation meetings (consultation Regional consultation forums, consultation sectoral partnerships, etc.).
