What does an R&D feasibility study entail?

Companies and organisations may carry out a feasibility study as a way to prepare themselves for an innovative follow-up trajectory.

Amount of the feasibility study subsidy

The basic support amounts to 40% of the project budget. An additional 10% support can be granted if the applicant is an SME.

What does a Baekeland mandate entail?

A subsidy for strategic basic research projects with an economic finality by PhD students in cooperation with a Flemish enterprise.

Amount of a Baekeland mandate

The amount of the subsidy depends on the size of the company and ranges between 50% and 80% of the staff and operating costs of the PhD student.
